Terms of Service

Effective October 22, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Data-based Innovations LLC (“we”, “us”), which makes Music Video Wizard. They cover the desktop app, this website, accounts, tokens and AI clips. By downloading or using Music Video Wizard you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Who can use it

• You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it (for example 16 in some EU countries).
• If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to create an account or buy tokens, and they agree to these terms for you.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. One person per account; don’t share or sell accounts.

The app

The app is free. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it for making videos, including videos you publish or earn money from. Don’t copy, resell or redistribute the app itself, reverse-engineer it to get around its limits, or interfere with our servers. The app includes open-source software, which is covered by its own licences — see Open-source licences.

Your music, footage and videos

• You keep all rights to the music, footage and other material you use, and to the videos you make. Your files stay on your computer; we don’t receive them.
• You are responsible for having the rights to everything you put into a video — the music, the footage, and any people, artwork or logos that appear in it. Music Video Wizard doesn’t check this, and we aren’t responsible for videos you make or publish.
• Don’t use Music Video Wizard to make anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.

AI clips

• AI clips are made by third-party AI models through fal.ai. Your prompt is sent to them to make the clip.
• Don’t ask for content that is sexual and involves anyone under 18, sexual content of real people, content that impersonates or misleads about a real person, hateful or violent threats, or anything illegal. The AI providers may refuse a prompt, and we may suspend accounts that break these rules.
• As between you and us, you own the clips you generate, as far as the law allows. AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in some countries, and other people may generate similar clips.
• AI results are unpredictable. A clip that was delivered but isn’t what you hoped for is not a failure, and its tokens aren’t returned.
• We may add, change or remove AI models, and change how many tokens a clip costs. The price is always shown before you generate, and you are never charged more than the price shown.

Tokens

• Tokens are a prepaid credit for generating AI clips in Music Video Wizard. They have no cash value, can’t be transferred or sold, and can only be used in the app.
• Tokens don’t expire while your account exists. If you delete your account, any unused tokens are forfeited and not refunded.
• If an AI clip fails to generate, its tokens are returned to your balance automatically.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay, and may change in the future; a change never affects tokens you already have.
• If we ever stop offering AI clips, we will give at least 30 days’ notice in the app or by email so you can use your remaining tokens.

Refunds

• All token purchases are final and non-refundable. Tokens are added to your account as soon as your payment goes through.
• If you live in the EU, the rest of the EEA or the UK, the law normally gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Because tokens are delivered straight away, when you buy them you ask us to deliver them immediately and accept that you lose that right to cancel once they’re delivered. You’re asked to confirm this before you pay.
• This doesn’t affect any rights the law where you live gives you that can’t be waived. If a payment went wrong, for example you were charged twice, email support@musicvideowizard.com with your receipt number.
• If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of contacting us, the tokens from it are removed and your account and computer may be blocked from buying again. If removing them leaves a negative balance, it must be paid off before you can generate clips. Please contact us first — we’re happy to sort out problems.

Suspension and ending

You can stop using Music Video Wizard and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or block a computer, that breaks these terms, commits fraud or abuses paid features. Tokens in an account closed for fraud or abuse are forfeited.

Support

• We don’t provide technical support. Music Video Wizard is a free app, and we can’t help with installing it, using it, editing videos, your computer, or problems with your files or projects. The questions and answers on this website are the help that’s available.
• You can tell us about a bug or suggest a feature with Report a Problem or Request a Feature in the app. We read them to improve the app, but we don’t reply to them individually or promise a fix.
• Email support@musicvideowizard.com only about purchases (payments, token balances and receipts) and privacy requests (getting a copy of, correcting or deleting your data, as described in the Privacy Policy). Other emails may not get a reply.

No warranty

Music Video Wizard is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we don’t promise it will be error-free, always available, or suitable for a particular purpose, and the AI services it uses are run by others. Keep your own backups of your music, footage and projects.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to Music Video Wizard is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Your responsibility to us

If someone makes a claim against us because of a video you made or published, or because you broke these terms — for example by using music or footage you didn’t have the rights to — you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, as far as the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and announce significant changes in the app or by email. If you keep using Music Video Wizard after a change, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, and any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts in Missouri, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it locally. If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
